Burn AVI files to work on your home DVD player
Many people have asked me, "how do I burn avi dvd files i watch on my computer to actual dvds so i can watch them on my dvd player?"
Heres how... first you'll start off by downloading VSO's ConvertXtoDVD Here, install the software. Find the AVI file you want to convert, what this does is makes the VIDEO_TS folders and files with the correct header information for your home DVD player to run the DVD, without the correct header info, it won't be recognized.
For *.tar.gz files, you'll need Winrar or 7zip. or if you're running a Linux distro type tar zxvf filename.tar.gz
